Todd Blumer has been SDG Systems’ CEO since its founding in 2001. Todd is an IT industry veteran with over 30 years' experience. He has significant industry experience in leadership, engineering and technical marketing at companies like FORE Systems, Marconi and Data General. Todd holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Clemson University.
Director of Product
Philip is responsible for product management and software development for SDG's IoT, data collection, and mobile solutions. Prior to joining SDG, he held various software engineering, product management, and analyst roles at IBM, JPMorgan Chase, and Data General.
Renee is our office manager. She keeps track of orders and finances, provides customer service, and stays up-to-date on new products. She graduated from Liberty University with a degree in finance, and has worked at various financial institutions.
Principal Software Engineer
Matt has been working on handhelds and embedded devices since about 2004. He develops all sorts of solutions, from Linux kernel programming and operating system customization to mobile and web app development. Lately he’s been working on our TallyPoint RF-1 smart RFID reader.
Lead Software Engineer
Ian Miller is responsible for SDG Systems’ full-stack web solutions including PhotoTag and Tallyflow. He leads a variety of web, mobile, and desktop based customer projects. Prior to joining SDG he has experience as a multi-disciplinary engineering team manager as well as personal experience with full-stack web development and electrical hardware and software design.
Marketing Specialist and Sales Associate
Alyssa is in charge of our marketing efforts. In addition to designing and maintaining our website, she also sends out our newsletters and is in charge of our social media accounts. In between marketing tasks, she assists Renee with sales.
Senior Software Engineer
John works on mobile and web development at SDG with a focus on the transportation industry. Prior to working at SDG, John worked for Epic Systems in a development and support role, working with major hospitals on electronic healthcare records. John holds a master's degree in applied mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Lead Software Engineer
Jay has been with SDG for about a decade, starting in 2011. In that time, he has worked on projects ranging from unexploded ordnance detection to point of sale terminal integration, along with just about everything in between. His current specialties include cross-platform mobile applications and RFID reader drivers.
